Day of The Dozers
A family-friendly event known as “Day of the Dozers,” welcomes more than 1,200 attendees, including more than 400 children and their families. With the help of local contractors and community volunteers, there is a controlled demonstration area in place to get the kids safely into this area where fully-trained and licensed machine operators are waiting. Each child is able to operate every piece of equipment on site. For the younger children, there are mazes, sandboxes as well as food. When each child leave, they get to have their very own hard hat.
The best part about this event is that it is a fundraiser for children’s hospitals and clinics in Minnesota! With countless community volunteers and sponsors, the event is always a hit.
Diggerland USA has been an advertiser with Jersey Family Fun since 2014 when they first announced the country’s only construction theme park in the US. Diggerland is open almost year-round from mid-March to late November. When school is in session, they are open weekends and school holidays usually from 11 am to 6 pm. During the summer months, If you have kids, you’ve probably noticed that they love any form of automobile from trucks to cars to trains. In addition, children seem to be borderline obsessed with heavy equipment! Diggers in action, trucks hauling cars, and trains moving along the tracks are impressive. However, as adults we might not notice every type of machine on wheels. Companies have taken notice to the fact that children love heavy equipment.
You can expect that Diggerland will be open daily 10 am to 6 pm. On select Saturdays and Sundays those hours will extend till 7 pm.
